Experienced, supportive and passionate coaches
committed to helping athletes, coaches and clubs develop.

Our wider team includes 11 coaches. The six coaches below are available for international camps, education and development projects.

Jutta Nyman

Jutta is an organised, goal-focused and encouraging coach with coaching experience across Levels 1–5. Her coaching style is demanding but supportive, and she wants to help athletes develop and reach their full potential.She currently coaches SSC Blizzard’s Junior All Girl Level 5 team, which won the 2026 European Championship. Jutta has also worked as Head of Coaching at a cheerleading club and as an educator for the Finnish Cheerleading Federation. She now works as a Competition Coordinator at the federation. Jutta holds a Master’s degree in Sport Sciences and a Finnish vocational qualification in coaching.

Vuokko Mononen

Vuokko is an encouraging, precise and systematic coach with over 18 years of coaching experience across Levels 1–6. She believes that teams develop best when everyone works towards the same goals and understands their own role in the team.She has coached All Girl, Coed, Cheer Dance and group stunt teams, including teams competing at European level. She currently coaches FT Gorillaz’s Level 6 Coed team. Vuokko has worked as Head of Coaching at a cheerleading club for several years and still holds this role today. She has a specialist vocational qualification in coaching, a degree in sports instruction and is an ECU-certified judge.

Kaapo Sevon

Kaapo is an energetic, positive and athlete-focused coach with around eight years of coaching experience across Levels 1–5. He believes that high-quality training and a good atmosphere go hand in hand, and he wants athletes to feel confident to try, learn and challenge themselves.He has coached both All Girl and Coed teams, including teams competing at European level. He has also coached camps in Finland and internationally, as well as private tumbling sessions in Finland. In 2023, Kaapo received the Finnish Cheerleading Federation’s Coach of the Year award as the youngest-ever winner. He also hosts Finland’s leading cheerleading podcast, Hit Podcasts.

Viola Tuunanen

Viola is a warm, energetic and patient coach with coaching experience across Levels 1–5. She wants to create a positive and safe environment where athletes feel comfortable asking questions, trying new things and challenging themselves.She has coached athletes from young children to adults since 2014, both as a team coach and at camps at Jaguars Spirit Athletes. Viola also has several years of experience in club board work. She has studied early childhood education at Master’s level and is currently completing a doctorate in adult education.

Ella Karjalainen

Ella is a thoughtful, inspiring and supportive coach with around ten years of coaching experience across Levels 1–5. She wants every athlete to feel seen and heard, and believes that good training should feel both motivating and meaningful. She has coached athletes of all ages at HAC and Jaguars Spirit Athletes. She currently coaches tumbling classes and camps at Jaguars Spirit Athletes. Ella has also been a board member responsible for coaching at a cheerleading club. She is completing Master’s-level studies in general and adult education at the University of Jyväskylä.

Robyn Weston

Robyn is a warm, motivating and goal-focused coach with coaching experience across Levels 1–6. She wants every athlete to feel seen, heard and accepted, and believes that teams can achieve great things when they work together towards the same goals.She currently coaches at Pyrintö Cheer Team, where she leads Sparks, a Youth Level 4 team, and Lightnings, a Junior Level 5 team. With Lightnings, she won the Nordic Championship in 2025. Robyn also leads additional training for several teams. She has a Finnish vocational qualification in coaching
